As my first experience with a Japanese drama-style show, the acting and pacing felt a bit awkward at first.. long pauses, overplayed expressions, and slow dialogue made the first episode feel more like a warm-up test run rather than an actual shoot. The premiere was very bad imo. But by the third episode, everything flipped completely in the best ways possible. I believe I was sobbing in every episode since then. This is the type of show that restores your faith in humanity. It perfectly embodies its motto: “To address a person, not a disease.” (paraphrasing). It reminds you that medicine isn’t just about diagnosing symptoms; it’s about listening, understanding, and connecting, something sadly most real doctors have forgotten or are simply too busy to care about in their race against time. The story itself leans on clichés and simplicity, but that’s exactly what makes it powerful. It’s sincere, human, and quietly profound. --- **Verdict** _Slow start, but ends up being overwhelmingly touching. 9/10 for sincerity and wisdom._
