Cross Game - Comments & Tips

I am not into Sports Anime but i can say it's one of the best anime I've watched. I really Tsukishima Aoba's Tsundere like character. Before starting it i thought it was just another baseball based anime but as series progresses the story get's deeper and deeper. It's doesn't really have any great comedy scenes to laugh but the heart-warming story will always keep a smile on your face.

In my top 10, and I don't even like baseball.

If you like anime, this has to be on your must watch list. One of the few anime I have re-watched from episode 1 until the end without feeling the need to skip any episodes

The graphics for this Anime are typical of a 2000s Anime, but the story and the character development are really where this Anime takes the cake. I’ve always been a sucker for Tsundere character development, and Aoba Tsukishima has just reached one of the top spots. I couldn’t imagine a better story arc with it’s complex relationships and progression over time. Man this Anime really takes you for a ride. It’s probably less of a Sports Anime, and more along the lines of RomCom / Slice of Life — but without the cheesy Shoujo romance stuff. Highly recommended.
