This is a strange show. 4 episodes in...I have no idea what is going on. But I can’t stop watching. So I guess it must be good since I can’t turn away. Let’s see how the rest goes.

I had no idea what I was getting into when I started watching, but WOW what a ride so far!! I adore Peter and Simone! I’m loving everything about this show. It’s unlike anything else I’ve seen, and its amazing!! I can’t wait to see where this adventure takes us next!

SO BORING! my god, i wish i could go back in time and spend 50 minutes on the toilet with diarrhea instead of watching the first episode of this boring series. '"Oh, look at me, I''m contemplative and full of metalanguage about existential motives'"

Finished. This won''t be to everyone''s taste, but I thought it quite thought-provoking. In the beginning it starts out as a an existential journey disguised as a game also intended to bring people together, but ends out as an exploration of identity, individual, group and human. What drew me to it was Sally Field, its small scale, and the character of Simone, of course. A story which is a puzzle wrapped up into an enigma, and one of the few visual experiences which breaks the fourth wall en masse, and does so self-referentially (the story in a story, in a story) as a plot device. A WTF is going on treat. 9/10

Well, in overall is a waste of time. Some episodes have a good points, good questions but is just like Seinfeld quote: '"this is a show about nothing'".

From what I''ve seen in the comments, I think that most people see Jason Segel and expect a certain thing (comedy) and thus, they got disappointed by what they watched. This is based on a true story... and yes, if you''ve seen the 2013 documentary about the Jejune Institute you know that what happened back then is just as weird and strange as this show. To this day a lot of people cant explain whether it was insanity, an alternate reality game, a cult or simply data collection... I think the series does a great job in being just as confusing as the real life story. Jason Segel is great in this!

You know. I realllllly liked this show. I looked forward to it all week when it was airing, couldn’t wait to see the finale of what the whole story was gonna be when it concluded. And then... dudsville. The end was such a fucking cop out. Basically was “surprise, I’m Jason Segal the actor and I’ve been in a rut lately so I thought I’d make a show to make myself feel better and that’s what the whole show was about”. It was the biggest blue balls from a piece of media I’ve ever had the displeasure of having. I’m writing this months after watching it, and it still pisses me off that AMC cancelled Lodge 49 and basically replaced it with this piece of garbage. Lodge 49 would’ve gone places, it was such a surreal feel good show. I want to know what happens in that. As for Dispatchers from Elsewhere. I implore you, if you do watch and enjoy this show, do yourself a favor and stop watching it before the final episode or you too will be left with the worse ending imaginable.

Smart writing for the most part, smart acting too. Knowing the backstory makes it even more intriguing. It bring up a lot of questions about '"what would you do'" and '"I''ve seen people just like that'" and '"I know what they mean.'" Not sure if it will merit a second season but as long as they keep the mainstream dogma out of it, a second season would be worthwhile. But if they keep the dogma out of it, would it even be popular enough to merit a second season?
