A very realistic take on the empty and soul-less nature of modern warfare especially in Iraq. It's so realistic that it kind of confused me in the beginning. Pop culture has trained me to think that the war after 9/11 was an intense fight for survival, when in reality it was a complete waste of time (which is what a lot of people have been saying). A stark contrast to Band of Brothers that's for sure. Generation Kill is a real eye-opener.

While I enjoyed Band of Brothers too, this feels a lot more closer to reality. Like @Alex Cano said, not for the "patriotic" guys.

This is terrible. I couldn´t even make it through the second episode. A bunch of kids pretending to be tough marines while most of them leaving the impression they couldn`t even tie up their own shoes. Stupid dialogue with constant repetition of the f-word in every second sentence as if there where a rule to do so. After just having seen Over There this shouldn`t even been mentioned with the same breath.
