Once a powerful lawyer, Billy McBride is now burned out and washed up, spending more time in a bar than a courtroom. Kind of superficial for an 8 hour crime drama -- the writers should watch some good Nordic Noir series and try again. The courtroom scenes were unrealistic and the series has a disappointing ending. Acting wasn't so great, but could've been compensated for with a better story.

Was totally surprised that I loved it. Washed out lawyer coming back, evil defense conglomerate, divorced couple with a kid in-between... Been there, done that, right? Watch it. Loved the story, the acting, everything! Rarely a 10 second stretch that is boring. And the story is getting bigger and bigger with plausible add-ons.

I have just finished the 1 season of this,I have to say I thought it was brilliant Billy Bob Thornton is absolutely amazing in it, great watch for anyone

**Better Call Billy** Goliath starts interesting but needs a firm cutting. There is too much unnecessary fluff. I love Billy Bob Thornton though. He really holds this series together, the other actors are fine but not more.

This show hooked me right from the start as I knew we were in for a treat with Billy Bob Thornton in the lead. He doesn't disappoint as a down and out lawyer, taking on a huge corporation and his ex-lawyer firm, which he himself founded.
