They tried to make it like panchayat, but miserably failed to do so. Tvf needs to stop showing villages in a bad way, no real village is like that. Even stereotypes have their limits. If you stereotype something too much, it stats to feel like a forced story. And if you are trying to portray a story of say 1950s-1960s then you need to keep the environment that way, can't show a extremely backward village while the residents are using instagram on same scene. The social messaging to the viewer is also very direct and a bit too much. People watch web series to enjoy, to relax a bit. Not for social messaging. Panchayat had everything 'swad anusar' but this one went to the extreme with everything, not in a good way, and the story is also incomplete.
