He's Expecting - Comments & Tips
The title and the premise might make you facepalm while asking yourself "why, just why?". The show is short, lighthearted, if you have nothing to watch give it a go. It shows the difficulties of pregnancy while remaining a comedy show. Not something that I would reccomend to my family, nor strangers. It's just one of those shows that you watch, erase from your memory, while occasionally getting vietnam flashbacks and wondering why you have watched this.
The only readon * reason this is tolerable is because it is not a Transman (Female) claiming to be Male/Man or a Transwoman (Male) suddenly becoming on being preganat while claiming to be Female/Women. This show try ing to breakdoewn gender hsteryotype of childraising roles/parenthood and prejudice against Females who get pregnant but is a weak script so not as impactful as could be. Not a 100% woke show but the influence of gender cult can be felt in dialogie etc.
**Unexpected surprise** A mirror on the life that every woman must live but carried by a man. The subject being treated is very delicate and current. I had reservations because I couldn't imagine how they could carry on the theme without becoming banal and cringe. After only the first few episodes I realized that they are committed to treating the subject with sympathy and lightness but without lacking in great depth. The actors completed the series optimally. Absolutely recommended to have a new interpretation of the current career / maternity / society situation.
