I Know What You Did Last Summer - Comments & Tips

Just Awesome! Loved the presentation, direction, editing, backdrop, acting, and many things that make this TV series a must-watch and far more worth watching than its preceding movie sequels and the original. Special mention to Madison Iseman and I reckon she has a long way to go especially for the talent she has.

Not gonna lie... I didn't want to watch the show merely on the expectation of getting another 90s slasher turned into a mystery series/teenage drama but I still clicked the trailer and then I saw it: :clown: :clown::clown: - yes! A clown emoji convinced me to give this one a go regardless (on which was delivered on multiple times). While it sort of was what I expected with plenty of flaws it was ultimately kinda "watchable". Still wouldn't recommend it however as there are entire episodes were pretty much nothing happens and the ending was very unsatisfying [spoiler]--'gt; it was all quite unearned with more dumb stuff piling ontop of the characters all behaving different from how they were portrayed before[/spoiler].

Amazon original? I don''t think so.

Weird. Very bad, compared to the movies... Dropped after 3 boring episodes...

I'll just quote my review since it pretty much sums up my opinion on the show: "By the end of the first episode I was so bored that I could have fallen asleep, and the thought of spending the next 5 and a half hours with these characters made me want to run in the opposite direction away from this series, but I continued, and what I was met with was an exercise in patience and frustration, especially since it was so terminally uninteresting. After watching the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” show, I can easily sum up my thoughts on it with one simple sentence. Just like how the original “I Know What You Did Last Summer” is much worse than the original “Scream”, than the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” TV series is much worse than the “Scream” series.

:heart:x6 This was sadly pretty much as I expected. Not that great. Do yourself a favor and skip this and go watch/rewatch the original movie. It's much shorter. I do have to say tho I was genuinely surprised when the killer was revealed. How I rate: 1-3 :heart: = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 :heart: = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 :heart: = I expect you will like this too 9-10 :heart: = movies and TV shows I really love!

Interesting idea to refresh the title, unfortunately wasted in implementation.

[Amazon] There is a certain recent trend to bring back slashers into series that are not even slashers. Here Sara Goodman turns a hit movie from the 90s into a youth thriller in the vein of dozens of recent youth dramas. What is more surprising is that, twenty years later, the show is more prudish than the original film.

i really enjoyed the fresh take on this. i never read the book but i loved the movie. suprising moments, gory kills and still a twisting ending. i dont need another season but thanks for making this. i recommend the fist scream season aswell for fans of old horror for newer audiences.

This show makes me feel old. PC characters with petty squabbles who are unlikeable. I''ve given this show 2 episodes and I''m reluctant to invest any more time. Acting is great but nothing and noone in this show has taken hold of my interest or care. Hopefully a goat hits all of them with a car as payback, and you find out the goat driving the car is the twin of the goat in the closet

Useless writing. Madison Iseman is a promising talent. Even she can’t carry this train wreck of a show. :rolling_eyes:

This is in steep competition with Outer Banks for the dumbest shit ever.

The trailer checked the obligatory PC boxes, but it looks also incredibly bad. I''ll give 2 episodes a shot but I''m not optimistic here
