Overview
Jim Jefferies: I Swear to God: The easily offended might do best to avoid Jim Jefferies’ raunchy, rude humor (or at least imbibe the two-drink minimum beforehand), but the Australian-born comedian provides plenty of laughs for everyone else in this HBO special. In I Swear to God, Jefferies continues his patented brand of comedy that once got him punched by an audience member, discussing the idiocy of no-smoking signs, sluts vs. studs, and his father’s Holocaust jokes.

You could go to a pub, wait for a sad 40/50 year old bloke to get drunk, and you’d get the same show for free. It’s all just jokes about sluts and sex, with a bit of fat jokes and dwarf jokes, and a pinch of joking about the ole family. While getting drunk on stage and the audience endorsing his alcoholism with woops and cheers. Not exactly refined comedy to put it like that, but if you’re feeling for paying a guy to get you all the drunk bar jokes, then that’s for you.
