Kurukshetra - Comments & Tips

Wow, this was something. It looks like finally India is moving forward with the animation industry. However it seems a little rushed, the animation especially backgrounds and detailing could've been much better. The production quality looks weak, Netflix should've poured a little more money on it but since animation is not on boom in india, it is understandable. However the music, voice acting, storytelling, details in writing, emotional quotient, characters and their presentation, all was so good. One can argue that the story is already there but they presented it in a great way in so much small time, Kudos to the whole team involved. A great show for watching with literally everyone and anyone.

The Matrix from 1999 had better graphics than this show. I get it, powerful story for a billion or so people but that doesn't make the show good. compared to something actually good like Arcane, this pails in comparison. Everything from the art, to music, to the story, have been done bigger and better for decades.

I loved the action sequence, they are fast paced and creates adrenaline rush.. For such a short episode run time (20min), Do not expect a detailed mahabharat story. The series is purely focused on war scenes in kurukshetra. PS: Viewers must also have some basic understanding on mahabharat characters. May not be for beginners i felt.
