Facts Of Life - S03E20 Kids Can Be Cruel Why is this done backwards??? The Facts of Life was the spin off of Different Strokes. Different strokes should have been done first. They are ALL WAY too old to be playing any of them, or at least looks it. . Take "Carl" for example. From what retirement home did they get hm from? Like seriously. John Stewart is FIFTY 9 years old!!!!! Not counting Mrs. G (obvio since shes passed), Stewart is OLDER than ANY of the 4 characters in real life!! About the actual episode "Kids Can Be Cruel" The script is WRONG! Carl never wore headgear. The two dudes call him Rocky behind his back 'cause "he has a scorching case of acne all over his face." "Tootie opens the slam book and read aloud a bunch of other nicknames Carl has been given: Pizza Face, Moonscape, Peanut Cluster." Why was that re-written???? I thought they used the "original" scripts Unless that was the original, but I cant find anything online that states differently. Ill admit I dont know Different Strokes as well. But I do know I hate Kevin Hart, Cant stand Damon Wayans either. I will say the casting ages/looks are better than the Facts Of Life casting. They also could have used an episode that had Kimberly in it. Like Dana Plato wasnt even mentioned. Abs rude. She was a main character on the show. One last thing. Did Norman Lear even have anything to do with these two shows. Quickly looking, All I could find was that they were both "produced by T.A.T. Communications Company, later known as Embassy Television (Norman Lear's production companies)" All n All. This one sucked.
