Mozart Mozart - Comments & Tips

[ARD] A reinvention of the relationship between Wolfgang Amadeus and his older sister, which feels chaotic in its approach, unbalanced in its mix of clichés and originality, and even unsuccessful in portraying Maria Anna's empowerment when, aside from her relationship with her fiancé, she is also reduced to a romantic subplot with Antonio Salieri that is anything but convincing. The story moves between situations so absurd that they end up forming their own narrative style, but this mix of speculative fiction and historical approach never works, with a visual style that may recall the films of Baz Luhrmann and Sofia Coppola, but which, in its blend of classical music and contemporary sounds, is particularly misguided.
