The new medical director breaks the rules to heal the system at America's oldest public hospital. Max Goodwin sets out to tear up the bureaucracy and provide exceptional care, but the doctors and staff are not so sure he can succeed. They've heard this before. Not taking "no" for an answer, Dr. Goodwin's instinctive response to problems large and small is four simple words: "How can I help?" He has to disrupt the status quo and prove he'll stop at nothing to breathe new life into this underfunded and underappreciated hospital, returning it to the glory that put it on the map.

The first two episodes were really good. I hope they are able to keep the momentum up. I'll withhold judgement until the season finale. Ryan Eggold needs a good show right now. So i'm rootin' for him.

Definitely one of the better Hospital Shows. At least the Pilot suggests it. I know that Freema Agyeman and Ryan Eggold are good Actors (Although I hated his Character in The Blacklist). Janet Montgomery plays her Role as the ED-Doctor Laura bloom very well also. So all in all a great cast, leaves to hope that the writers were able to keep it up after the Pilot. We need a new great Show in a Hospital, now that Greys Anatomy is short of Flatlining and the start of the new The Resident Season was a bit weird [spoiler] (another hacker attack via Phone, really?!?)[/spoiler].

There are so many things to like about this series. The writing has depth. A superb cast. It puts the spotlight on the medical issues of our day. The personal dramas keep us rooted in the series. It's optimistic tone is a drink of cold water in a parched desert. I give this series an 8 (great) out of 10. [Medical Drama]
