Based on a true story, Scorpion is a high-octane drama about eccentric genius Walter O’Brien and his team of brilliant misfits who comprise the last line of defense against complex, high-tech threats of the modern age. As Homeland Security’s new think tank, O’Brien’s “Scorpion” team includes Toby Curtis, an expert behaviorist who can read anyone; Happy Quinn, a mechanical prodigy; and Sylvester Dodd, a statistics guru.

Show is super campy, but if you get past the rather bad episode 1, then the rest of the season has been pretty alright. If you are even semi-familiar with technology, physics, and the world we live on, then you will know that a lot of what they are talking about isn't true and is suped up hyperbole.

Can a show be bad and brilliant at the same time? Apparently, yes. This show is my guilty pleasure. At times I find myself screaming at the screen something along the lines of "That's not how this works you idiots!" but usually a few minutes later I laugh out loud when I hear Sylvester and Toby arguing over something. The show will not stun you with incredible acting, a complicated storyline or scientific accuracy, but it will surely be a good one if you want to sit in front of your TV and relax.

This show is great if you take it as seriously as the writers of the show do. It's stupid and it's supposed to be. It ends up being hysterical and a lot of fun to watch. We don't have too many silly shows airing now that are enjoyable to watch, but this is one.

This show is incredibly stupid and bad. But somehow it became a guilty pleasure for me.
It's so bad but at the same time in a way that it is entertaining to watch, just not how it was intended to be.
This show must have the most plotholes I have ever seen in a TV series.

I both love and hate this show. I LOVE the whole idea/concept of it. It makes me laugh when smart people try to say it's a biography. It's entertainment - a story that was created, then manipulated by the network to try and get the highest amount of ratings to fill the Board's pockets More

While I respect other people's opinions about the accuracy and stupid plot holes (pilot ep, not landing the plane manually, etc)... This is a Hollywood entertainment show, with the emphasis on entertainment.

So,
a) you have to create a crisis
b) you have to make up situations that create drama More
