I'm no fan of the books but damn the pace is all over the place, first episode was mediocre at best and why did they make it just 37 minutes? Give us more background and development before you rush into a fight scene. Second episode was better in terms of pacing but yet it felt so disconnected to me one episode you get chased by a monster and the next you're fighting off bullies. I don't know if this is how it went in the books but I really wish this gets better in the coming episodes. Edit: okay it does get better actually in terms of pacing and all but the show is catered towards a younger audience so I'm not gonna criticise it much but why tf does everyone has either daddy or mommy issues

I like it so far but why does Disney always short the episode time with 10 min of credits. Hate that.

Really dont understand Disneys weird obsession with 40 minute episodes. The first two episodes could both have benefitted from an extra 30 minutes.

It's ok, not great not terrible, but holy fuck how we came from Alexandra Daddario to this shit, I don't really understand casting black teen for this specific role, it totally ruins the immersion of this series

Much better than the movie. Two episodes in and I'm hooked. P.S. Sadly, after whole season, I don't feel the same. Not sure why, but my hype for the show kinda fizzled out. The feel for the whole show is a meh (5), but I gave it fair (6) score just because of hype from beginning.

Pretty cheesy kids show. Watching w my 13 year old and he likes it. If it weren’t for him there’s no way I’d watch this.

The VFX is top notch , but sadly this is a show for kids. So , it has way too much plot armour, predictable storylines and very mature dialogues from little kids. If you're fine with that , you'll probably like this.
