It was a good show to watch.
But the problem was not revealing the murderer and keeping it for season 2. They could’ve easily shown that someone gets arrested, and then in season 2, another murder happens with the same pattern — or maybe a completely new case.
That would’ve been a better approach in my opinion.
Remake of the Dutch show "The Killing" with subtle changes to reflect present technology and Indian society.
We usually watch a murder mystery to find out why it happened, how it happened, and most importantly, who did it. Unfortunately, you won’t get answers to any of these questions in Season 1 of this show. The mystery remains unsolved, leaving viewers waiting for Season 2 to uncover the truth. Although the show is marketed as a murder mystery, it ends up being a confusing mess. Konkona Sen Sharma gives a commendable performance and tries her best to hold the show together, but even her talent can’t save it from a weak and poorly written script. She is the only saving grace, but there’s only so much she can do with such limited material. If you plan to watch this show, it’s better to wait until Season 2 is released. Watching only Season 1 will leave you frustrated and wondering why you bothered in the first place.
