Summer Time Rendering - Comments & Tips
This was amongst the best anime(s) of the year 2022. From lovely characters to an incredibly engaging plot I enjoyed every bit of this show.
One of my favorite Anime! Good plot twist, ending is everything you can ask for. Beautiful animations. You wonโt regret it!
A great anime but felt a bit too fast at times..
This is a really good show. Really good story with a beginning and an end. [spoiler]Time traveling[/spoiler] stories can get confusing but this one in particular was pretty easy to follow. Had a really good time with this one :)
So this series is Twin Peaks but anime and during the summer? Not bad for now, I'll see how it develops.

It was a pretty good show that honestly got slightly worse as it went on. It peaked around the beginning episodes, specifically where there was extreme tension trying to figure out who was evil and not and who was themselves and all of that. It was extremely unique in that regard, especially when it was mixed with the time loop aspect. It went from a gripping, tense mystery to an action show. It still was not bad, but I think it has missed potential. It might have been one of the best anime ever, but its drop in tension and quality around Episode 7 has me frustrated. I still think it was a very good experience overall. Definitely, animes based on time travel always make me feel excited. Summer Time Rendering (or simply, Time Shadow), is an anime that easily fits in my list of animes that **I warmly recommend**. From the very first episode until the last one (25th), the anime manages to take us by emotions. Time Shadow is indeed a mix of Stein's Gate (the time travel and the mystery), Re;Zero ([spoiler]for Shinpei's power[/spoiler]), Anohana (for the relationship between the characters [spoiler]and the topic of mourning[/spoiler]), and even Higurashi When They Cry! (for the atmosphere that everything is happening in a small Japanese village [spoiler]and the powers of Shinpei naturally[/spoiler]) On top of that, the music of this anime is really excellent. The op looks like a mix between the one of Stein's Gate (Fatima from Stein's Gate Zero) and the one of Higurashi When They Cry Gou! (I believe what you said) As for the ending, it's one of the best. It manages to transmit to us the emotions of joy and sadness of the events that take place during the whole show. To conclude, if you like anime with slice-of-life, mystery, and time travel themes, **don't miss this anime!**
i really really loved the whole island vibe and the dynamics and chemistry all the characters had, it personally gave me a sense of far-away nostalgia and longing that i can't exactly explain but truly cherish and appreciate!! it had an amazing story and characters, as well as animation 'amp; voice acting of course, and the twists were SO. GOOD. 'amp; it had a perfect amount of episodes, 25, it was just right, with perfect pacing 'amp; such a wholesome and beautiful ending !!! also really loved opening 'amp; ending 1, and when that ending 2 started playing in the last two episodes? **beautiful**
A very original story with beautiful animation and great characters. While this anime does have some common tropes that other animes have, the story is so unique and interesting that I can fully appreciate what this show was trying to do.
