Kyotaro Ichikawa, a boy barely clinging to the bottom rung of his school's social ladder, secretly believes he’s the tortured lead in some psychological thriller. Never been one for romance but this...this stole my heart. The score is phenomenal, the initial few episodes had me smiling but the last episode I was in tears. The characters are so well written and the story as a whole is a breath of fresh air. Season 2 here I come.

Wow definitely a bait and switch in the best kind of way. I went in expecting a mediocre conduit for fan service and came out seen a kind, patient, and nuanced romance. The show does a wonderful job of showing the cringy moments that come with being an teen, experiences of not quite fitting the mould you may be put into by yourself or others, and how it’s ok to take your time and understand how you really feel about yourself and the people you want in your life. The creators put the personal growth of the characters first and it made for something I could look forward to every week.

This show, "**The Dangers in My Heart**," started out super awkward, like, way too cringey. But then, it turned into this super sweet story about two characters growing up. I actually liked it from the beginning, even with all the cringe, but by the end, it was one of my favorite shows of the season More
