An interesting series that delivers on its promise of plot twists. While I had higher expectations, it still manages to be a good series overall. The show's storyline offers intriguing twists and turns that keep you engaged and guessing. The unexpected developments add depth and suspense to the narrative, making it a compelling watch. Although I anticipated a bit more, it remains a solid series that is worth checking out.

The premise is interesting but the lead is dull. Also, at least half of it is German audio so be warned of that.

It's always nice to have a new book and a new story to read.... I mean to watch. :grin: I like period dramas... this one is well made. There's a lot to enjoy.

This series is better than it looks. Once you go beyond the stereotypes (the Russians are terrible, the brutality it takes to survive, the American hero is the best), the intrigue is enough to keep you focused, the protagonist has more debt than expected, and everything grows to lead to two fast-paced final chapters. The 50/50 mixture of German and English gives it verity, and some almost poetic moments among the ruins of Berlin have enchanted me. Good to go.
