Will You Like This?

If you enjoy high-stakes choices and identity-swapping drama with a fantasy hook, this could work for you, especially if you liked Squid Game; Not for you if you hate bully tropes, slow starts, or messy mid-series shifts.

This drama is absolute art. I thought it was gonna be shit after reading the synopsis. basic boring body switch. No, it's not a body switch but a life switch. The rules to golden spoon, the circumstances the characters everything just fits so well and goes so smoothly. The development of the story is so fast, you will not feel boring at all because every scenes have a their own story.

It's okay. The series has some goods ideas and few great and emotional scenes. But overall there are too many unexpected/random events or protagonists randomly changing their minds.

I loved this! Well thought out plot with subtle acting that made the twists and turns more believable given the supernatural aspect of the premise. I also enjoyed the characters and the ending totally recommend giving this a chance. personally, I liked it so much because it really drilled in the fact that perfect life doesn't exist and encourages you choose the what would make you marginally happier and deal with the consequences as they come.

You know it's Korean fantasy when there is an old woman selling old stuff on the streets, overpass, underpass, and speaks about times of old. And then โ€ฆ boom โ€ฆ a miracle. ^_^

>Everyone is equal but the world is unfair !! How much money can make you happy ? 1 Million ? 100 Million ? 1 Billion? A trillion definitely ? I love the plot. A boy that gets his hands on a magical spoon that allows him to switch lives? Thatโ€™s not gonna go wrong at all. This is going the way I pictured and yet not at the same time. It keeps you up on feet and at time frustrating but the message the writers wanted convey was done well with the show. Most of the cast carried the emotions well ; except Jung Chae-yeon she was the bad apple !! both her character and the acting have been disappointing ; i wasn't expecting much from her but still she kind ruined some moments. On contrast Yeon-woo acted really well as spirited Na-ra/Yeojin but the writers did her injustice by sidelining her in second half and making her meek unlike the fierce player she was in the first part before the time skip. Finally the Suengcheon/Taeyong due have been excellent with adjusting to the switches ; retaining their true character and beliefs and in a convincing way the conclusion . You will pay price for using Golden Spoon ! Its worse than what you are born with !!! Even if the world is still unfair the sunset is still the same for everyone

The very first scene we were introduced to generic high schoolers that left a sour first impression. Right off the bat we were hammered with the deplorable trope of bullies and rich kids that both were done in the most tacky ways possible. I hated every second but I kept my patience waiting for the fantasy/supernatural tag to kick in and change the scenery. It certainly did for a little while during the first half despite being very slow, especially with the insane 80 minutes runtime per episode. However, the drama started to fall apart around episode 7 and it became an unwatchable piece of utter junk after the insane 10-years time-skip in episode 9. Any potentials it had were evaporated. The story had insane gaps that were impossible to patch. There are a lot of points to be made about the mystery, secrets, reveals, decisions, and transformations but I would be repeating myself. It was really frustrating watching the golden spoon's rules change and evolve to fit the story's new development and narrative, a very strong sign of amateur writing! It's possible to blame the writers' heavy reliance on the source material and doing the bare minimum to script it. Since the source material is a Webtoon, it wasn't surprising seeing strange behaviors and random elements starting to seep through. It's hard to trust a Webtoon story to translate well into screen without competent writers unless the Webtoon creator was exceptionally brilliant which in this case he wasn't.
