I know what happened to Titanic. I know how it happened and why. There isn't much new to learn or discover. And yet, everytime a new show or docu pops up I can't resist to watch. The Titanic holds a faszination and stands for more then "just" a desaster. This shows approach to have actors portray some of the survivors and have them speak their words is fascinating. Of course there are no eyewitnesses left but this is the next best thing. It's gripping to hear what went through their minds while being faced with a horrible death. I didn't even mind the talking heads analysing the events. Yes, they are judging an event more then a century past from todays point of view. But they do concede more than once that people in those times were different and that in extreme situation decision making is not always black and white.
