As a ballroom dancer it is great to see an anime made with ballroom dancing in it. And also to see that they made it with all the correct technical details of dancing and a good (but exaggerated) image of competition dancing. There is so much a dancer will recognize and will love about this show. This makes me forget some of the flaws the show has.

The opening, the dance scenes,.... this somewhat turned dancers into psychopaths for me. Their distorted bodies and those faces... how could you not think 'a bunch of wakos'?

If anime taught me anything then it's that it can make even the most apparent (subjective) boring things work. Unfortunately a lot of this was just not very exciting, part because of it's generic framework and imho muddled character interactions but also because of Production I.G not bringing their A-game.

3 episodes in aaaand just dropped. heres the thing: i think after yuri on ice we all expected A LOT! and unfortunately, this does not deliver. It's an interesting premise but the plot isnt exciting, you wont want to root for the mc and honestly i get tired of the really unnecessary boobs-of-a-middle-school-girl in the screen. There's also a lot of cliche like romance, angry edgy teenage boy who's supposed to be hot but just ends up as a huge dick (~~oh aomine how i miss you~~) and not to mention the badass motorcycle riding but nice and dorky older guy who mentors the mc. Again, I was really excited for this. But its just not good.
