Easily one of the worst anime I've seen. There is just nothing good about it, here's why: The so called "Gatherer" part is just sidelined after the first few episodes and it has nothing to do with the main character or their motives, it isn't even like the character has an interest in collecting stuff before he is reincarnated, nor is he particularly interested in it in the new world besides the first episode where he is surprised by the variety of things around him and then uses his skill to get things to sell. The characters have no development at all, they're the same by the end of the series as when they are first introduced. The magic system is terribly written and is just a convenience tool used to supplement terrible writing: [spoiler] In episode 9 when they're looking for a kidnapped child the MC uses the same 'Scan' magic which he had used before to locate items to gather, but now 'amplifies' it and is somehow able to find the child who seems to be a great distance away. [/spoiler] The main character also has unlimited mana and never seems to run out of it, yet when fighting he often just uses melee/physical attacks with his staff, and supplements his attacks with some basic movement/physical buffing magic.
