If you want to rewind from a long work day this the film for you! The dumb and dumber interactions are fun to watch. The storyline is basic, but enjoyable. I would love to get the backstory on the fly though. Where does it came from? We know Manu stole the car, why wasn't the owner looking for it?

Like a picnic with your cousin's in-laws, you feel welcome and out of place. At least the flies weren't as bad as you feared. PS Can I propose Super Fly as the English title?

[Sitges FF] Quentin Dupieux's surreal universe is revealed again in this story that has the same road-movie approach as "Rubber" (2010). Although some jokes are easy, and tends to superficial portraiture, this friendship story (whatever happens) finds its best moments in the interaction of these two "dumb and dumber" guys with the giant fly, than with the remains of characters. It is a simple film, but at the same time it reveals the absurdity of some human relationships.

Quentin Dupieux has always made strange films that usually can’t be categorized as anything other than bizarre. His filmmaking career seems to have culminated with Deerskin, which is his funniest and most coherent film to date. Mandibles feels like a withdrawn version of Dupieux though. There’s More
