_The Psychic_, also known as _The Seven Notes in Black_, is a bit of a departure for Lucio Fulci. While it does have a mildly violent moment at the beginning, and the familiar eye zooms, this feels much more like a story Bava or Argento would have taken on. By that, I mean this is more of a supernatural mystery, rather than a horror movie. Overall, this needed to be tighter; it's just over an hour-and-a-half and it felt closer to two hours. Not much to say about this one. No real highs or lows. It's just sort of there, and the ending felt lazy. All that actually mattered to me was finding the source for another song in _Kill Bill_.
