Ouija - Comments & Tips
just watch this and all i got to say is shitty movie...don''t waste your time.
Thought this was going to be a good supernatural movie. OMG was it ever TERRIBLE!!! Nothing scary at all... what a waste of time.
The acting is bad. Painful to watch.
clumsy writing, bad acting, boring horror non scary moments and all the obvious cliches ... the worst horror film from the US this year.
The Lego movie was scarier than this one.
it wasn''t as scary as i expected, but still really good
Nothing special... could work as a Hasbro TV commercial ;)
I do not know how a movie can be this utter dog shit.
There is maybe a reason why the words “board” and “bored” sound almost the same. In any case, no movie has bored me as much as “Ouija” for a long time. A movie version of the spirit board was completely unnecessary either way, but everything here really is the lamest possible version. There are no scares, no surprises, and some good actors deliver below-average performances. The second movie is supposedly better, but to be honest, that wouldn't be all that much of an achievement.
Mildly creepy, Hasbro’s latest board game film, _Ouija_, is more monotonous than scary. After her best friend commits suicide Laine Morris uses a Ouija board to attempt to contact her on the other side, but instead of her friend Laine reaches a tortured spirit that’s seeking help. While Olivia Cooke gives a fairly decent performance, the rest of the cast is rather bland. And the plot is a pretty stereotypical ghost story with all of the usual tropes. Yet the production values are quite good, and set a chilling and atmospheric tone. _Ouija_ isn’t so much a bad film as it’s a clichéd and uninspired one.
'gt; "You can never, ever play alone. You can never play in a graveyard. And you always have to say goodbye. To start, you circle the board once for each player. Then we say, as friends we gather, hearts are true." Hmm, not as good as I was hoping it would be. Story is a bit of a mess but you can tell Olivia Cooke has acting chops at least.
I only watched this because I recently realized that Flanagan’s film actually worked with the canon from this one. I’m actually more impressed now with what he was able to pull off.
The most vanilla horror flick of all time
5/10 Nowhere near as good as the second movie which I always watch first. This was just plain boring and with uninteresting characters that I had no love are care for. Boring paint by numbers plot, Even though it's under 90 minutes it felt like it was on for much much longer, I had to really grind that second half out Just to finish this Meh movie. Second one 8.5 This one 5 just, only because Jason Blum was involved. VERDICT: Move along nothing to see here (Check out 2 though it's Awesome and far superior in every way to this movie).

This as a standalone movie offers you nothing. Literally. But do watch the prequel _Ouija: Origin of the evil (2016)_ before this one. The flow of the story can then be felt and you will not find this movie much boring in this case. The story/making/performances could have been way better. Would rate only 5/10 as a standalone movie
Not bad at all and the acting is pretty solid. Just don''t go in expecting too much and you''ll have a good time.
A waste of time... like most of terror movies
