In the South Pacific island of Makatea, career-driven magazine editor Robin Monroe is on a week-long vacation getaway with her boyfriend, Frank Martin. An emergency work assignment in neighboring Tahiti requires Robin to hire the cantankerous pilot Quinn Harris who had flown them to Makatea on a small transport plane. While flying, a powerful storm forces Quinn to make an emergency landing on a nearby deserted island. The dissimilar pair avoid each other at first, until they're forced to team up to escape from the island -- and some pirates who want their heads.

Not a fan of romantic comedies but I love the goofiness of Heche teamed with the grumpy, sexy bad "boy" image of Ford. An interesting pair and enjoyable to watch.

Harrison Ford does what Harrison Ford does best...crash planes. Sorry...had to do it. Anyway...Six Days, Seven Nights. Nothing overly bad about it, but nothing all that good either. Pretty predictable and bog-standard romcom in many ways. Decent acting all around, except Schwimmer, but that was expected. Six Days, Seven Nights is not among Reitmans best films, but it's decent enough. Just don't expect to remember much of it a few days from now...these things works like teflon on the brain.

Like Jim222001, this is a guilty pleasure of mine. Overall a cheesy story, but the chemistry between Ford and Heche make for great moments. I love watching this flick. It's a good time, romantic comedy the likes of which we don't get much of anymore.
